Short description
“Achille e gli altri. Rapsodia d’eroi” re‑reads the figure of the classical hero—Achilles, Hector and others—through a contemporary ethical lens, weaving together spoken word, original music and movement. The theatrical narration is accompanied by a parallel cinematic narration: a live camera operator on stage captures close‑ups and fragments of action that are projected in real time onto semi‑transparent tulle, breaking the frontal plane and adding multiple visual perspectives to the scene. This live video layer, developed by Andrea Santini and Gigi Funcis, turns the stage into a stratified image-space where bodies, shadows and projections coexist, reinforcing the tension between mythic distance and the urgent ethical questions addressed to today’s audiences.
